BLS For Healthcare Providers
  • This course is designed for those who provide health care to
    patients in a wide variety of settings.  The course is intended for all
    allied health personnel such as physicians, nurses, paramedics,
    respiratory therapists, nursing assistants physical and
    occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or
    fellows, police officers, firemen, etc.
Course Objectives

  • One-Rescuer Adult and Pediatric CPR
  • Two-Rescuer Adult and Pediatric CPR
  • Mouth-to-Mask Ventilation
  • Use of Bag-Valve Mask
  • Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction (concious and unconscious)
  • Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
  • Resuscitation Situations
  • Proper usage of barrier devices
All participants who complete the course should be able to demonstrate
the skills of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, mouth-to-mask, bag-mask
ventilation, use of AEDs, and relief of Foreign-body airway obstruction.  
After successful completion of the course, including the written
examination and skills demonstration, all participants will receive a BLS
for Healthcare Providers course card.
